Since i love all thing aviation, i really enjoy watching the Red Bull Air Races. These pilots do phenominal things and so do the support crews. They fly all of the aircraft, and gear that they need to use to create portable airports in whatever town they are in. Well this creates alot of cargo and actually take 7 747-400's to haul it all around all over the world! Here is my idea for a group flight, have arounf 7 or 8 of us , in strictly 747-400's fly the "cargo" for them. The first race is in Abu Dhabi, UAE on March 26 & 27. I figure a the group that would like to take part could fly from their HUBS to Abu Dhabi a couple of days before the race. then we would move as a group for the reaminder of the flights. here are the races : Abu Dhabi, UAE March 26-27 Perth, Australia April 17-18 Rio De Janeiro, Brazil May 8-9 Windsor, Canada June 5-6 New York City June 19-20 (we could go to out hub @ KEWR) Lausitz, Germany Aug 7-8 Budapest, Hungary Aug. 19-20 Lisbon, Portugal Sept. 4-5 we should probably make the flight to the next city the day or 2 days after the end of the previous race depending on what your schedule would allow. let me know if anyone is interested or has any other ideas to make it easier for us all thanks FDC - 386

Cannot believe i missed the first flight of my own idea! However I have been pretty busy the last week or so getting my new computer up and running and ready to get airborne. I guess we can go ahead on skip that first flight. as for the next race, it is not until april 17 but we should probably get the stuff there fairly soon. i would say that we should leave next sat/sun which ever would work best and then for the folling races leave on the day after the race or if that is a scheduling conflict due to day of the week , we could just go the following weekend.
